Know the Expiration Date of Your Relationship (Black Mirror-Style)

If you are familiar with the British anthology “Black Mirror,” then you might have already seen the “Hang the DJ” episode from the fourth season.  Hang The DJ is all about pairing off people into trial romantic relationships through a Tinder-like dating app.

On Valentine’s Day, a new website application called “Coach.dating” was released and we are sure where they got the reference.  Coach.dating asks you to “put your trust in the system” and determine the length of your current relationship.

HOW THE APP WORKS:

First, you must share a link with your partner, then you will be both notified to click “coach’s interface.”  Shortly after, the device will reveal exactly how many more years, months, weeks, days, or minutes you have left in your current relationship.

Though the app works a lot more random, there are some theories that says if both partners click coach’s interface simultaneously, they will find their “ultimate match.”  The results may vary from approximately 30 minutes up to 17 years.

The fun bit is you can also send a link to yourself and ask coach how long your relationship will last.  This is exactly an interesting app to remind you that your relationship probably won’t last forever.
