None of the passengers suffered injuries although they were forced to dismount from the train and walk on the tracks towards Ayala Station.

There have been 475 MRT3 problems already recorded (from January 1 to November 17 this year) – an average of 10.33 a week or more that once a day on some days. 392 incidents in the same period occurred last year, or an average of around 8.5 a week. There were only 441 incidents in the entire 2016 were recorded in the MRT3 line.

MANILA, Philippines - Justice Secretary Vitalino Aguirre II said that the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has yet to conclude their examination on the MRT detachment incident.

Last November, Aguirre issued an order to NBI to further examine the coach that was detached from the two front cars from the northbound train between Ayala and Buendia stations. “Wala pang definite results ang investigation sa MRT (There are no definite results yet).” Aguirre said last tuesday.

The train leave around 140 passengers stranded on the track.
